Ludhiana (Deepak Sathi). Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Tanvir Likhari, a Seminar on Health Services was organized by the Red Ribbon Club of Govt. Evening College Ludhiana on 27-02-2024. Dr. Arun Mitra, an ENT Surgeon from the city was the guest speaker who while addressing the students, highlighted that access to good health services is the Directive Constitutional Right of every citizen. While comparing Indian health services with other countries, he emphasized that India needs to step up its budget allocation on affordable medical facilities so that they are within the reach of a common man. Dr. Mitra shared the insights into various ingredients of a healthy diet and encouraged the students to choose good health over drugs and substance abuse. On this occasion, students participated in poster making and essay writing competition and Dr. Mitra awarded the winners. The whole program was compered by Prof. Vivek Sharma. Incharge Govt. Evening College Prof. Paramjit thanked the guests in the end.
