Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, councillors condole death of Mayor’s mother
Ludhiana, April 27 (Deepak Sathi). Following brief illness, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur’s mother Sarabjit Kaur (61) passed away at DMC hospital on Sunday early morning. Sarabjit Kaur, wife of Late Mohinder Singh, was cremated at the cremation ground of Doraha where hundreds of mourners, including cabinet ministers, MLAs, councillors among others gathered to pay their last respects. Her son Amandeep Singh lit the funeral pyre. Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi, Payal MLA Manwinder Singh Giaspura, MLA South Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar, Deputy Mayor Prince Johar, Chairman Markfed Amandeep Singh Mohie, Chairman District Planning Board Sharanpal Singh Makkar, Chairman Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank Suresh Goyal, President of Municipal Council Doraha Sudarshan Kumar, councillor Aman Bagga, councillor Nidhi Gupta, councillor Pallvi Vipan Vinayak, councillor Lakhwinder Singh, Rana Kapoor, Bobby Tiwari, Manoj Goyal, Honey Sethi, among other councillors, leaders, heads of social/religious organisations participated in the cremation ceremony and condoled the death of Sarabjit Kaur.
