Dr Manoj K Sobti, Member Punjab Medical Council Informed that the primary motive is to ensure proper notification, Latest guidelines of TB management & prophylactic treatment. He further informed that the CME was accredited 2 hours by PMC. Dr Bimal Kanish, President IMA Ludhiana opined that collective efforts from private practitioners and government are needed to achieve the goal of TB free India. He informed that Dr Hatinder Kaur Sohal, Civil Surgeon Ludhiana had been invited as chief guest of the event and Dr Harpreet Singh district family planning officer was the special guest. Dr Mohanjeet Kaur, Secretary IMA Ludhiana informed that elaborate talks had been given by Dr Ashish Chawla (District TB Officer), Dr Rajesh Bhaskar (State TB officer) and Dr Satish (WHO Consultant). Dr Mani kant Singla delivered a talk on,” Latest Updates in the management of diabetes mellitus.” Dr Hatinder Kaur applauded the efforts of the NTEP team. Dr Jagdip Whig, Dr Sarit Sharma, Dr Ramanbir Singh, Dr Savita Jain were the chairpersons of today’s event. Dr Pritpal Singh, Dr Karmavir Goyal, Dr Saroj Aggarwal, Dr Gaurav Sachdeva, Dr Resham Saloh, Dr Bhupinder Singh, Dr Avinash Jindal, Dr P S Jassal, Dr Arun Gupta were present among others.
