Ludhiana (Rajkumar Sathi). IMA celebrated Independence Day with taking oath of making India a quality treatment affordable country at all segments of population. IMA Ludhiana members participated in Independence Day function at IMA house in large numbers. The Chief guest Mr Prashant Singla, IRS, Deputy director GST intelligence Ludhiana hosted the tricolor flag with the army band playing in the background. He in his speech said that our country is most advanced in quality and timely treatment to all t. Earlier while welcoming the Chief guest Dr Manoj k Sobti, Patron IMA and member PMC said that IMA members are already participating in government hospitals where specialties are not available.
Also IMA participants in all government Health schemes. He said that independence also means to make this country free from diseases and poverty. Dr Gaurav Sachdeva, President IMA Ludhiana emphasized that all members have taken an oath to make this country and all the citizens to get affordable treatment at all levels of healthcare system. He said the true service to the country is the service of mankind who is suffering, ailing, lacking opportunities and needy. Dr Mohanjeet Kaur, Finance Secretary IMA Ludhiana conducted the ceremony in a very elegant manner. Many IMA members and families presented cultural programs with patriotic songs, dance, guitar playing etc. Blood donation camp was also organized by Rhera seva society. Around 40 units were collected. Also present were Dr Pritpal Singh, Dr Bimal Kanish, Dr I S Bagga, Dr S S Arora, Dr Bhawna Sachdeva, Dr Saroj Aggarwal, Dr O P Arora, Dr Manbhawan and Many Others.
