Says, AAP candidate was not even in politics when it was built
LUDHIANA, April 22 (Rajkumar Sathi). Punjab Congress Committee Working president and party candidate for the Ludhiana West by-election Bharat Bhushan Ashu today debunked the fake claims of the Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sanjeev Arora that he got the Ferozepur Road Elevated Road built. Reacting to Arora’s claims he has been making too often during his campaign, Ashu said, the ‘Ferozepur Road Elevated Road’ project was conceived and planned in 2016. It was built and completed during the Congress regime between 2017 and 2022, when Arora had not even joined politics, Ashu pointed out. The former minister released various newspaper reports with photographic evidence about the meetings held in connection with the planning and executing of the Elevated Road project. Ashu said, it is not just he alone but every single resident of Ludhiana, who knows it as when was the Elevated Road project started and when it was completed and who got it done. “Are such projects completed within two years?” he asked, while debunking AAP candidate’s fake and false claims. The two-time legislator from Ludhiana West challenged his AAP rival to produce a single shred of evidence which would suggest that the AAP government in general and he in particular had any role in building or completing the Ferozepur Road Elevated Road project.
Ashu said, there is nothing unusual in the AAP candidate’s fake claims as the AAP was used to telling lies. He referred to recent “toilet renovation” projects of the AAP which completely exposed the fake claims of the government. The senior Congress leader disclosed that he will be soon releasing the facts and figures of various other projects which were done and completed during the Congress regime, but are being claimed to have been done by the AAP leaders.
