In the course to streamline the supply of potable water, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi kick started the project to install a tubewell in Iqbal Ganj near Gopal Mandir (ward number 77) on Thursday. The 25hp tubewell is being installed at a cost of Rs 12.64 lakh. MLA Prashar stated that the area residents had been facing problems in potable water supply and they had raised the issue in the past. Fulfilling the demand of the residents, the project to install a tubewell has been commenced in the area. The authorities have been directed to install the tubewell as soon as possible, so that the residents should not face any trouble especially during the summer season, added MLA Prashar. MLA Prashar further stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed to the overall development of the state. He further stated that a large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana Central constituency to develop quality infrastructure and for providing relief to the residents.
