It is because of traitors that Bhagat Singh was martyred and Kartar Singh Sarabha faced the gallows at just 20 years old : Raja Warring

Ludhiana (Rajkumar Sathi). Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the Congress Loksabha candidate for Ludhiana, delivered a powerful message during his recent campaign in Jagraon, condemning party traitors and urging voters to focus on development. Referencing a village sarpanch who recently defected from the party, Warring drew historical parallels to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and Kartar Singh Sarabha, stating, “It is because of traitors like these that Bhagat Singh was martyred and Kartar Singh Sarabha faced the gallows at just 20 years old. While the entire Punjab stands united in this righteous struggle, these traitors side with tyrannical opportunists. Bittu, driven by his lust for power, has betrayed the very party that nurtured and supported his political journey.” Warring emphasized the enduring legacy of true patriots, contrasting them with the transient nature of most politicians. “Most politicians are forgotten over time, but Bhagat Singh and Kartar Singh Sarabha are remembered for their supreme sacrifices for the country. I always pray that even if I never hold a high position in politics, I can do something significant enough for my people that they remember me for years to come. I believe that those with a conscience live on even after death, while those without are as good as dead already.” Criticizing Prime Minister Modi’s policies, Warring warned of dire consequences for farmers. “Modi isn’t even willing to negotiate with you during the elections. If he wins, he’ll make your life even more difficult. Many of you have taken loans from banks or individuals, and he will seize your lands. In India, wealth distribution is highly unequal, with the richest 10% owning as much wealth as the remaining 90% combined. Under Modi’s government, the Adanis and Ambanis have become so wealthy that they will acquire your land and lease it back to you for farming.” Warring highlighted the Congress party’s achievements, including free bus services for women, free wheat, Rs. 5 lakh insurance, a Rs. 4,500 crore loan waiver for Punjabi farmers, increasing the Shagun scheme from Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 51,000, and raising the old age pension from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,500. “The Congress party is the only one capable of combating this injustice and championing the development of people from all walks of life. Only a Congress-elected Prime Minister can replace the current one and bring about the necessary change.” Raja Warring’s campaign was met with enthusiastic support in Jagraon, where he participated in a massive roadshow and addressed worker meetings in Ludhiana North, encouraging party workers to give their best in the final days of the campaign. He called on the people to vote on the agenda of development rather than loyalty to a party.
